Cheerleading

Cheerleaders are chosen from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and represent BMS with school spirit.

As school role models, they are expected to be on their best behavior and do their best at all times.

Cheerleaders must maintain a 70 grade point average. When the average is not at least a 70, the cheerleader is benched for 1 nine weeks. Cheerleaders must also have Satisfactory (S) in conduct; they cannot have Needs Improvement (N) or Unsatisfactory (U). Cheerleaders are also required to earn 15 AR points each nine weeks.

Tryouts are held in the spring. The cheerleader sponsor is Mrs. Y. Jones.

Cheerleaders pose together for a group photo in front of their school, showcasing school spirit and camaraderie.
