Students who want to learn to play an instrument and perform in the band must first take Beginner Band.  

The BMS 7th and 8th Grade Band serves a dual role as a marching band and a concert band.  

The Beginner Band and the 7th and 8th Grade Band performs concerts at Christmas, in the spring and for special events and school assemblies under the direction of Mr. Boatwright.
